Find the Path to Your Best Smile

When you visit Germantown Orthodontics, you’ll get the latest treatment options from board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Erin Kopicki. Patients of all ages can choose from braces and clear aligners to get stunning smiles that last a lifetime.

Straighten Your Smile

Orthodontic problems can impact kids, teens, and adults — it’s rare that anyone is born with perfect teeth. Malocclusion, or a “bad bite,” can cause problems with chewing, oral hygiene, speaking, looks, and self-confidence.

There are several causes of bad bites, including genetics, habits like thumb sucking, dental disease, poor dental hygiene, accidents, or other medical conditions.

Dr. Erin uses her board-certified expertise to successfully treat many dental issues, like:

  • Gaps between your teeth
  • Crowded teeth
  • Overbite
  • Underbite
  • Crossbite
  • Protruding teeth
  • Impacted teeth

Metal Braces & Other Options

Most patients we treat at Germantown Orthodontics choose traditional metal braces to straighten their teeth. While they’re the most common choice, there are other options, too!

After your first free consultation exam, Dr. Erin will discuss which treatment would be right for you based on your unique needs and smile goals.

Fixed vs. Removable Appliances

At Germantown Orthodontics, we want you to be fully educated regarding your treatment. The first step to correcting an orthodontic problem is learning about it.

It’s helpful for patients around Germantown to understand the difference between fixed and removable appliances. Dr. Erin attaches fixed appliances, like braces, to your teeth and won’t take them off until you complete your treatment at Germantown Orthodontics.

When Dr. Erin prescribes a removable appliance like clear aligners, you’ll wear them most of the day, but you can take the trays out of your mouth.

Besides the obvious differences, Germantown Orthodontics uses clear aligners to treat mild to moderate orthodontic problems and fixed appliances for comprehensive treatment.
